Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum 60 by 22 inch hitch cargo carrier and how it fits on our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. So with the 1500, we do have a good amount of space in our truck bed, but maybe you want a little bit of extra storage on a longer trip, maybe you just want something that's easy to load in bags of mulch or dirt, gravel, whatever it is that might make a mess inside your bed that you'd rather not deal with, this is a good way to extend that storage or get some larger, messier items out on the back, so let's take a closer look. As I mentioned, the carrier is made of aluminum, so it's really lightweight, but it's still able to support up to 500 pounds, so it's still gonna be able to get a good amount of weight where you need it to go. It's got this grid design on the inside, so you can store some smaller items-ish, but you still have enough room for that mess to fall through, we have rails that go around the outside, as well as points on the inside for you to tie things down to. That being said, because these are aluminum and they are kind of thin, when we've been testing these, if we put any sort of real pressure on there, they do flex pretty easily, so we'd honestly recommend maybe not using that if you wanna put your straps there, we'd rather use the outside rails if that's an option for you. more

Flint Hill Goods 29 x 49 Carrier with Ramp Review - 2023 GMC Sierra 3500- Video

Flint Hill Goods 29 x 49 Carrier with Ramp Review - 2023 GMC Sierra 3500

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier with a 60 inch ramp fits on our 2023 DNC Sierra 3500. There's a lot of cargo carrier options out there, and yes you already have a large truck with a large truck bed but sometimes you need a cargo area that's more easily accessible. That's where this carrier with a ramp comes in handy. This is made of aluminum, so it's gonna be lighter than your super-duper heavy duty ramps. And you have a long ramp which gives you a more shallow incline. That way you can carry around, let's say you're snowblowers, your generators, your larger items that need to be ramped up instead of lifted up. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have our Flint Hill Goods steel cargo carrier with a 48 inch long ramp. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 GMC Sierra 3500. The Sierra 3500 is already a heavy duty truck, but sometimes you still need a little bit more cargo space beyond what your truck bed can offer you, especially if you need to carry around larger heavier items that are easier to ramp up. For example, scooters, wheelchairs, snowblowers, generators rather than lifting them up and into your truck bed, getting a hitch mounted cargo carrier like this with a ramp might help you out. Now this is gonna be a steel cargo carrier with a 48 inch long ramp. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier that tilts and folds, and how it fits on our 2023 GMC Yukon XL. So, it is a pretty big vehicle, and typically you might have a lot of storage space, but if you do have your whole family going on the trip with you, you might run out more quickly than you think. And in that case, a hitch cargo carrier like this is gonna be a great way to get some bigger items out of the back or maybe just some muddy, sandy items that you don't wanna keep in there. The weight capacity of this carrier is 500 pounds, which is pretty typical for carriers like this. What isn't typical for carriers like this is the fact that it is able to tilt away with the items loaded up. more

Hey everyone, Charles, here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier on our 2019 GMC Acadia. This is gonna be great for freeing up a lot of space in your vehicle for more gear, extra passengers, or pets. A couple reasons why I would prefer a hitch cargo carrier over a roof-mounted one is because it's gonna be a lot easier to load and unload those heavier, bulkier items. And it'll free up space for kayaks and/or fishing poles. From the bumper to the first point of shank rise right here, it's gonna be about five inches before we hit that rise. And the clearance before we open our hatch and make contact is gonna be about 13 inches from when we open it. more
